!HI!
My name is Candy and I have been riding since I was 5!
My first bike was a Raleigh night burner with no brake cables which I stopped with my heels. This bike was mostly used to go to the shop and buy my parents cigarettes and booze.
When I turned 10, my second bike was a Raleigh Bomber 3 speed which was such a fast bike!! When me and the neighbourhood kids got up to all sorts of mayhem, this bike was really great for making a quick getaway.
At 13 my third bike was a Peugeot 16 speed which I had to get good grades at school for (the only year I studied)...and with more gears I had an even faster gettaway. My current bike is Marin Hawk Hill which was massively upgraded in Jan and I am just love that satisfying feeling of cleaning the mud off after a long day out.

I ride all over the UK almost every weekend but have not even sampled the North London parks mentioned on this site...if you are doing some days out I would love to come along and meet club members and can always help out with lifts as I have a big van with lots of bike/bum space

Hi Candy; Welcome.
That sounds like a pretty comprehensive bike history. Like it

We are just kicking off with regular Sunday rides again this year, so keep an eye out. The calendar will be updated regularly.

We went out the last few weekends to some local spots to explore new places, and will go to Leith Hill (Guildford / South-Southwest of London) this Sunday, where we will meet up with more people from the local shop ride. Fancy coming along?

What type or riding do you do, and where??
